First, a martini uses vodka and Triple Sec.  A margarita uses tequila.  Somehow though, people often ask this question.  You can make a margarita festive, for sure, but a pomegranate martini can’t be beat!

How do you make a pomegranate martini?

This cocktail is so simple that it will end up being a drink you enjoy for many holidays to come. Here are the steps to making it;

  • Add a tsp of pomegranate seeds to the bottom of each martini glass. (You can learn how to seed a pomegranate here)
  • Mix the vodka, pomegranate juice, lime juice, and triple Sec in a cocktail shaker fill with ice for 10 seconds.
  • Pour the mixture into a martini glass and garnish with a thinly sliced lime.

Does a holiday cocktail get any easier than that? I don’t think so.
