What makes this Cranberry Champagne Cocktail so festive?
Cranberries have long been a symbol of the holidays with their bright, red coloring. Nothing says holiday better than a beautiful cranberry cocktail! This cranberry champagne cocktail is a mimosa with all the right holiday flavors! It’s a really fresh and sparkly drink that will soon become one of your favorites for Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations. We served these at our wedding in October as well because it’s just so darn festive! It’s especially festive when adorned with a sprig of rosemary.
What can I mix with champagne?
There are many fresh juices that mix well with champagne.
- Orange juice
- Grapefruit juice
- Freshly made lemonade
- Mango juice
- Sorbet
- Chambord
- Cranberry juice
Really any fresh juice will do, but for the holidays, a cranberry juice is the best choice.
What is a good, medium priced champagne for this Cranberry Champagne Cocktail?
Personally, I recommend Chandon. Most of their champagnes run in the mid $20 range, but you can also find small bottles which are perfect if you’re looking to make a cocktail for yourself and don’t want to open a whole bottle. Perhaps I’m partial to it because we visited on our honeymoon in Napa, I’m not sure. I find the bottles I’ve had to be really pleasant and I’ve often picked up bottles because I know I can count on a nice, consistent glass with pear and green apple. It’s my favorite.
What are the best snacks with champagne?
