Each design is embroidered in our home studio with quality embroidery thread. Sweet Humble Home tea towels have a bit more of a tailored look as opposed to many flour sack tea towels. 100% organic cotton tea towels will shrink and wrinkle. This is normal for 100% cotton. Towels are absorbent and lint free. Designs will stay put when washed. Towels are machine washable. Cold with like colors and lie flat to dry or on low in dryer. For best results, iron towel with napkin or pillowcase (another cloth) over the design. Stabilizer used for embroidery will eventually wash out and disappear. Do not trim threads on the back of the towel. The threads that remains are the knots that hold together the design.
